Finally. Electro trio Nyx has finally finished their second album Continuum which is officially released on 8th of April.
As the title says on the new album band continues their trip in the future pop world but compared to their debut album First Aeon (2002) the sound is more electro and club influenced.

The Komets is a High Voltage rhythm & blues, garage, soul & rock'n roll from Kouvola Finland. Vocalist and drummer ie. 2/5 of The Komets is also 2/5 of Cheerleaders United.
Check out The Komets' MySpace and their The Sonics / The Wailers / Chuck Berry / Bo Diddley / Flamin' Groovies incluenced tracks which were recorded live without audience just like all the original garage hits.

Mysterious electro duo Huminoida is back with their new 7" single called A/B (Other Side / The Other). Electronic experimental pop in the spirit of wonderful synth pioneers like Fad Gadget, Human League, Soft Cell, Tangerine Dream, Cluster, Suicide, White Noise... with the addition of strange twists influenced by Coil, Foetus, Shriekback ..etc..
A/B single is realesed in original 70's/80's style only on 7" clear vinyl and the limited edition of 300 copies is manually numbered and signed by artists themselves. No CD or digital download this time.

The record release gig will played at Lepakkomies, Helsinki on Friday the 2nd of Januaruy. Other bands are Pasilian Savut, Tuomas Palonen solo and The Spoonshiners.

Hundred Million Martians' Marseille CD was released today. Check your local record shop or order directly from Plastic Passion's webstore (12 eur Europe / 14 eur RoW) or download a digital version from Levyvirasto (8 eur).
HMM's guitar player Ari Väntänen was interviewed by Turun Sanomat / Treffi and the album was also reviewed (3 points). In the latest Sue magazine can also be found the interview of HMM's vocalist Jyrki Mäkelä.

The fourth album of Hundred Million Martians is called Marseille and it will be released as a traditional CD format on Wednesday, March 26th. Also, Marseille will be available as a digital download version at the Finnish indie music marketplace Levyvirasto, starting on Wednesday, March 19th.
Marseille's guest star Michael Monroe (saxophone and harmonica) and his band Hanoi Rocks got yesterday the Special Emma Award (Finnish Grammy) for the band's pioneer work in exporting Finnish rock music and for Hanoi Rocks' unique charisma and rare vitality as recording artists. Congratulations!
Tero-Petri's 'Tuolilta herännyt' album is released.
The Plastic Passion releases are distributed by Supersounds Music and 'Tuolilta herännyt' can be bought in all the good record stores around Finland. You can also order album directly from Plastic Passion's own web store and Levyvirasto (digital download also).

The former Limonadi Elohopea singer/leader Tero-Petri Suovanen is nowadays a solo artist called Tero-Petri as well as the leader of the band called Tero-Petri.
The debut album Tuolilta herännyt will be released on the 27th of Feb in a traditional CD format. Digital download is already available in Levyvirasto.
